Lovely staff, lovely food - everything is great. If you like fish and chips there is nothing bad about this place ever and they have cheese pies and deep fried halloumi- Guy, 11 years old 😀 plus they do gluten free items !!

This was a very pleasant and cozy place to eat well cooked and delicious food. The new management makes the Neptune's fish and chips a place you can eat daily. I was tried cod and chips and cheese and haddock. Excellent pukka pies. If you prefer you can eat gluten free cod roe or chips. There is a meat free menu also. George is very polite and friendly as all the other staff, too. Prices are very good. The place is one of the most cleaned ones i ever saw. Highly recommended

The first chippy I've had since my coeliac diagnosis! The gluten free chips and battered sausage were delicious. Got a small and still struggled to finish it, the portions are very generous! Also surprisingly affordable when considering how GF food can cost so much more than non-GF food. Had a small wait (~15 mins) because the GF stuff is cooked fresh, but it was so delicious and so worth the wait!

Fallen outta love with my regular chippy, due to less than amazing batter on fish. Got 2 fish, large sausage, large chips and large mushy peas for £20 which wasn't bad as it fed 3 of us. The batter on the fish was nice and crispy, light in colour. 1 of our fish was better than the other tho. The chips were good and nothing to oily or not fresh. Mushy peas were actually great. Nice couple running the place and they also do some Greek dishes too it seems. They take card too which was good cause I didn't have cash
